In 2016 Bernade approached me about painting my portrait but being close to my wedding anniversary I asked that she paint my wife instead and I would present it as an anniversary gift - AND WOW! - not only did she deliver on time - the painting was fantastic, she nailed it! - AND - she enthusiastically agreed to deliver the painting beautifully gift wrapped to our dinner table at Carabus restaurant on the night of our anniversary!!! Needless to say, my wife was blown away and Bernade / The Painted Pose made me look like the best husband in the world.... Hugh points, lol! In short, Bernade Flournoy is a skilled artist, professional, kind, friendly, enthusiastic, and an all around beautiful person to know, do business, and speak with. Furthermore, with the holidays approaching - or birthdays / anniversaries / valentine / etc. - please consider her portrait services for that most unique gift that will be around as a family keepsake for generations to come!!! I did a paint party for my birthday with around 20 guest and we ALL had an amazing time. The Painted Pose was on time, professional and very personable. This was my 1st time hosting my own Canvas and Paint party and all ready making plans for another one.

Wow! My first Facebook live encounter with Ms. Bernade was amazing! She is full of life and it shows in her art. She gracefully paints across the canvas while still keeping a close connection with her viewers. It is an honor to witness such humanly passion for her art and others! I enjoyed a relaxed and inclusive painting experience. She was kind and patient and gave as much or little guidance as you wanted. There were a variety of options to choose from. Some prepared, some blank canvas’s. It was a nice experience and I highly recommend
